Premium care for your pets.

Located on Donner Summit, our focus is the best care for your mountain dogs that gives them a safe place to use their natural instincts. We are known for our Ruff Ridges Pack Adventures that gets your active, high energy dogs out on the trails with others for safe socialization, exercise and enrichment. Each dog is carefully placed into a pack that they would thrive in, ensuring a safe and exciting day!

Although we are mainly focused on dogs, we love animals of every kind and are happy to offer our services to cats and exotics as well. Please check out our services page to see more of what we offer and pricing.

Meet the team.

Kyley

Hi, I’m Kyley, founder and pack leader here at Sierra Pet Co.

What started as a passion for caring for animals has grown into a business built around trust, adventure, and personalized pet care. I believe that every pet deserves to feel safe, understood, and loved while their family is away.

My goal is to make that transition as seamless as possible by taking the time to learn their personalities, routines, and individual needs. I strive to provide the same level of care, structure and attention they receive at home, helping them feel comfortable while you’re away.

While safety will always be my number one priority, adventure is a close second. Whether your pet is coming to join us for Ruff Ridges Pack Adventures, Trailside Walks or Basecamp Boarding, you can rest assured they’ll come back home with stories to tell!

When I’m not caring for your pets, you can find me exploring new trails with Cleo, snowboarding at the mountain, paddle boarding at the lake, or roadtrippng in search of new places to explore.

I look forward to meeting you and your pets and becoming a trusted member of their care team.

Activities Coordinator

Cleo

Cleo is our sweet one year old lab mix, and is the heart and soul of Sierra Pet Co. She’s also the hardest worker on the team! She specializes in treat quality control, trail scouting, and welcoming new friends to the pack.

Her favorite activities include supervising pack adventures, paddle boarding at the lake, and enjoying a long game of fetch. When she’s not hard at work testing trails and boosting team morale, you’ll likely find her soaking up the sun or searching for her next snack.

She takes her role here very seriously- especially when treats are involved.
