Our Story

At Sierra Pet Co. we believe that each animals care deserves to feel personal, enriching, and tailored to who they are.

What began as a passion for caring animals has grown into a business rooted in trust, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the bond between pets and their humans.

Living in the mountains allows for us to appreciate the beauty in our backyard and find joy in the simple things. We bring that same mindset to our pet care. Whether your pet is joining us for Basecamp Boarding, Ruff Ridges Pack Adventures, or Homefront care, our goal is to provide a safe, enriching experience while you’re away.

We believe that dogs should be allowed to be dogs- to sniff, explore, play, and experience the world through their natural instincts. We also understand that each animal is unique and has a different type of activity level. Some may thrive on adventure, while others prefer a quiet routine and familiar place to rest. With each animal we get to know, we take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and individual needs so that we can provide them with the best experience.

Dogs may lead the pack here at Sierra Pet Co., but all animals are welcome. We have experience in caring for your cats, parrots, and even chameleons!

We understand that finding someone to care for your pets is a big deal, and we’re honored every time a family chooses us. We strive to provide the same level of care, communication, and attention that we expect for our animals.
